of New Directions. Raffle proceeds to benefit New Directions.
Key parts include: Santee rigid frame; Harley-Davidson Evo
74 cubic inch engine; Chrome Springer front end; 4 speed close
ratio Rev Tech transmission; custom red, white & blue
paint job.
Raffle held in cooperation with Viet Nam Vets Motorcycle Club,
P Chapter, California. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased

Drawing
to be held November 7 th at New Directions 10 th Annual Celebrity
Golf Classic, at Mountain Gate Country Club, Los Angeles.
Winner need not be present.
In celebrating the diversity, strength and excellence of Los
Angeles, The Central City Association of Los Angeles
honored New Directions with the association’s distinguished
“Treasures of Los Angeles Award”
at its 11th Annual Awards Luncheon, emceed by Dick Van Dyke.
In recognizing New Directions’ extraordinary commitment
to rehabilitating and empowering homeless veterans in Los
Angeles, the association also commended New Directions’
“Therapeutic Community” which promotes the elimination
of anti-social and criminal behavior, development of work
ethics, community involvement and good citizenship. For more

Directions is also a nominee for the prestigious “Governor’s
Veterans Employer of the Year Award.” The award
recognizes employers who consistently demonstrate positive
policies towards U.S. veterans in hiring and promotion, as
well as in employee retention efforts, ongoing training and
benefits. The recipient will be named in June 2005.
