SERVICE COORDINATOR

 

Come join our agency where we help change and restore lives! The Service Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of recovery, including education, job training, and crisis intervention. The Service Coordinator will maintain accurate records and work consultatively with other staff members to ensure appropriate treatment levels. This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan with employer matching.


Job Duties:

  • Assist in the intake of new clients (fill-out intake questionnaire, assign a new bed, issue uniforms, record all new medications, assure that all forms are completed).
  • Maintain Medication Log, support all self administered medications.
  • Maintain daily client count. Make bed changes when necessary.
  • Drive to various activities (12 step meetings, social events, etc.).
  • Participate in conferences, workshops, special projects, staff meetings, training, activities, and other assigned duties.
  • Understand all Phase requirements. Also, provide
    on-going support and crisis intervention.
  • Work consultatively with other staff to ensure appropriate levels of treatment. Reports all important client behavior to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain records, both handwritten and by computer, accurately and on time.

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of substance abuse issues, residential treatment programs and mental health
  • Knowledge of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous or other fellowships
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Valid and insurable Class 3 Driver's license
  • Minimum one (1) year clean and sober
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or other education will be considered.
  • Drug and alcohol certification is preferred
