Which Direction?

Which Direction? – CRE Outreach and New Directions presented an original drama created and performed by Veterans from New Directions. Asher, a young aspiring writer, turns to the military to escape from his broken family upbringing. Arriving in Iraq and overwhelmed by the heat of battle, he loses his nerve, leading to the deaths and injuries of some of his fellow soldiers. Seeking retribution some of the others in his platoon choose to teach him a lesson, forcing him back towards drugs and alcohol. Will Asher find himself and realize his dreams before it’s too late?
*About CRE Outreach: CRE Outreach is a non-profit performing arts organization that helps under-served populations in greater Los Angeles overcome their challenges through the creation of original works.

raised $12,500 which was donated to New Directions

The evening program included dinner, dancing and raffles
of big-ticket prizes, including iPads, Apple MacBook Pro
computers, Xbox 360 game consoles and roundtrip airline

got a taste, via multimedia presentation, of the award

The highlight of the evening came in the form of a very intimate
and moving speech from Bill Shean, a current Board member of
