NBC’S HIT SHOW SCRUBS AND PLANO MOLDING CO. PROVIDE "TOOLS FOR CHANGE" TO LOCAL FORMERLY HOMELESS VETERANS AT NEW DIRECTIONS, INC.

Los Angeles, CA -- February 25, 2003 -- The producers and crew of NBC’s Scrubs and Plano Molding are presenting the graduates of New Directions’ Handiworker program with Plano’s Contractor Grade toolboxes equipped with $100 of tools, each on Wednesday, February 26, 2003, at 4 p.m. at a reception at New Directions in Los Angeles.

Several of Scrubs’ crew members and show producer Randall Winston are veterans themselves. Plano Molding is providing its high-end Contractor Grade toolboxes, while the crew of Scrubs pooled money together to purchase the tools. New Directions provided the graduates the tools for recovery. These graduates of the Handiworker program, formerly homeless veterans, will utilize the "Tools for Change" when they enter the workforce. With the help of Scrubs and Plano Molding, these graduates have an excellent start to finding employment.
