Bring a loved one's hobby and passion back to life through the charitable gift of Stamp and First Day Cover collections to New Directions!! Many of us have had friends or family members who were avid stamp collectors. They leave behind them a legacy of hard work, patience and the excitement of discovering that rare and unusual stamp. Often these collections are passed down to people who don't have the time or the resources to appreciate them.

New Directions now offers the staff and expertise to unlock the intrinsic value contained in these collections. Honor those passionate stamp enthusiasts by making their collections available to fellow philatelists, and at the same time help New Directions in its continuing efforts to transform the lives of homeless veterans.

We are accepting donations of the following:
— Stamp albums (complete & incomplete)
— Loose stamp collections
— First Day Covers (FDCs): envelopes with stamps attached and cancelled
on the first day that stamp was issued.
— Postal Stationery: includes government-issued postcards, air letter sheets and aerograms
— Postal History Covers: envelopes commemorating historical events (i.e. first voyages, etc.)
— Old personal envelopes with cancelled stamps
— Old postcards
— Coin collections
