NEW DIRECTIONS: What's New

Nominated last March, New Directions has just been named the 2005

recipient of the prestigious “Governor’s Veterans Employer of the Year."

The award recognizes employers who consistently demonstrate positive

policies towards U.S. veterans in hiring and promotion, as well as

in employee retention efforts, ongoing training and benefits.

EMPLOYMENT PLACEMENTS ARE UP

Since the beginning of 2005, 43 veterans from New Directions have gone

back to work at an increased average placement salary of $9.01 per hour.
